Muresconu

Traditionally grown in southern Corsica, Muresconu produces lightly coloured red wines that develop hints of terracotta and aromas reminiscent of dried fruit and spice.

Muresconu produces a wine that is low in acid and alcohol, with low tannins, but with a high-quality structure. It can work very well when blended with Niellucciu.
In the making of rosés, this variety produces lightly coloured wines, pleasant, with an expressive nose (white flowers, blackcurrant buds, red berries and golden caramel). On the palate, it is full and well-balanced. When blended with Sciaccarellu it makes a soft, balanced wine with a long finish.
