Brustianu

Traditionally grown in southern Corsica, Brustianu is also not listed in the ‘Common catalogue of vine varieties’, but studies are now being carried out by the CRVI with the view to its addition.

This variety produces wines that are pale yellow in colour with green highlights and a pleasant, expressive nose. There are notes of honey alongside delicate citrus fruit and aniseed notes.
On the palate, it lacks brightness and body, but it can be very useful for blending.
